Actually felt very comfortable with Service Dept. Everything enjoyable except when I learned AAA discount of 10% is maxed at $75; instead of what I’d hoped would be $300 discount (even then I didn’t complain).

I recently visited Tasca GMC Clearwater for a recall on my 2021 truck. During the recall, something was mishandled, causing a malfunction that required a part to be ordered. Although I could still use my truck during the wait, the situation was extremely inconvenient, especially since I rely on my truck for my business and lifestyle as a full-time RVer.

My AC was out in my car and Michael was very nice at helping me fix my car and make sure I was not paying too much. I fixed what I needed for my AC to run. But the part was not in and they had to order it. So I was able to get a loaner car bc I have 3 kids. I had a wonderful experience just like my others. I will continue to keep coming back. You have my business because I felt I was unreasonably treated at the GM service dept. in St. Petersburg. After a few service appointments, our interactions became unfriendly, and he stopped returning my calls. Your folks, in particular Lexy Sarang (who assisted me once at the St. Petersburg service center when I first got my vehicle) have been fantastic. Pros:
Great truck, the staff was professional and timely, and we worked out a fair deal.
Cons:
i came in with a bank check to buy the truck and found out much later in the process that I was required to use onsite financing only and that i could refi to my bank after the deal was done. So, the dealership got all their fees wrapped into a bundle i had to refinance. Btw, they did attempt to convince me the bank apr wasn’t real, but it was.

I recently visited the Clearwater area for vacation from out of state. While in the area my truck needed some warranty work done, and my truck experienced a minor issue with its communication module. They took me in on 4 hours notice before my scheduled appointment, and while no repair was needed it was nice to know that that my vehicle could at least be looked at, instead of delaying it for another day. Misdiagnosed the first time, but discounted the work when they discovered the real problem. Other than that, they were very pleasant and professional. My problem is with GM, which I have contacted and opened a case.
Sean was our salesman and he was professional, courteous and very knowledgable. He answered all of our questions and explained the car features with great detail. He is outstanding.

Service was great- good people there. BUT...I was disappointed in the choice of oil they used (semi synthetic cheap stuff) in my $70,000 truck. Clearly a cost savings for the dealer. Now I have to get it done sooner next time to put decent fully synthetic back in. Which is what GM says should be used. I wont go back for an oil change especially with cheap oil and the history of lifter issues with the 5.3v. I expect more from the dealership.

Recently I took my car to the service department as I had a mysterious problem that I knew would be difficult to diagnose. The service department went out of their way to try and find the problem. They serviced the car as well as they could and told me if the problem occurred again to not hesitate to return. They were courteous, helpful and accommodating.
Service Advisor Lukas Allen got me in right on schedule. Because it was a complimentary (free) first oil change and tire rotation, the service was better than expected. Treated like I was paying full price. Part of the service was up to 2.5 gallons of DEF fluid for my diesel truck. Since I had topped off my DEF prior to the service, I was even provided a bottle of DEF for use when needed. I would recommend their service dept. to any GMC owners.

The best experience I could have asked for when your check engine light comes on. I took my car in for the check engine light and Mark in service was amazing. Kept in contact with me let me know what was going on with my car and made sure the experience was less stressful then when I had it serviced at another dealership.
